Ys IX: Monstrum Nox launches for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021
At the end of today's New Game+ Expo live stream, NIS America made a major announcement that they are bringing Ys IX: Monstrum Nox to North America, Europe, and Oceania in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
This is the ninth mainline title in the long-running Ys series developed by Nihon Falcom that was first released in Japan in September 2019. In this action RPG, you will be able to control six playable characters - each of them having unique abilities in both explorations and battles.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will have English and Japanese dual audio as well as English and French text options. On the PC platform, Ys IX will also be available through Steam, where it also includes a Japanese text option.

About the game:
Renowned adventurer Adol “the Red” Christin and his companion Dogi arrive at Balduq, a city annexed by the Romun Empire, only for Adol to be detained before setting foot inside. While imprisoned, he meets a mysterious woman named Aprilis who turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters.
