ESRB gives Teen rating to Guild Wars 2

The ESRB finally gave a rating to one of the most anticipated MMORPG of the year, Guild Wars 2. It recieved a Teen rating for its combat, "stylized blood effects," alcohol and the use of profanity such as "a*s" and "bastard." It's unsurprising that the game was rated Teen considering its prequel Guild Wars was also given a Teen rating. For the full details of the rating for Guild Wars 2, click here. 

Guild Wars 2 is an MMORPG, a prequel to the critically acclaimed Guild Wars released in 2005. It spawned three other titles, one of which was an expansion. The development for Guild Wars 2 started in 2007 and ArenaNet announced earlier this year that the game will launch this year. While an official date hasn't been set, players will be able to pre-purchase the game on April 10th. Doing so will grant access to all future beta events as well as some in-game perks.
