Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo launches on January 12 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4
Cygames has revealed that the previously-announced demo for Granblue Fantasy: Relink will launch on January 12 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. There are no plans for a PC version demo.
Additionally, Cygames has uploaded the Granblue Showcase: Part 2 which aired earlier in the week. Cygames first announced the demo version in late December, alongside the addition of Cagliostro as a playable character, and plans for future updates.
The showcase can be found below, alongside details regarding the newly released demo. While there is no save data carryover to the full game, there do seem to be some 'demo rewards' for those who complete it.
Tokyo-based video game publisher and developer Cygames has announced that a demo version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink will be available for download on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms on Jan. 12, 2024. Published, produced, and developed by Cygames, Granblue Fantasy: Relink releases globally both in physical (with XSEED Games) and in digital formats for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and in digital format for the Steam platform on Feb. 1, 2024.

Three modes are available in the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo.
Story Mode
Experience a small slice of the main story! Upon completing this mode, players will earn a reward that is claimable in the full game of Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Quest Mode
Work your way through a sampling of three quests that are playable solo or with other players via an internet connection! Upon completing this mode, players will earn rewards that are claimable in the full game of Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Eleven characters are available in quest mode, each with their own unique fighting style. There’s someone for everyone!
Available Demo Characters: Gran, Katalina, Rackam, Io, Charlotta, Ghandagoza, Narmaya, Lancelot, Siegfried, Yodarha, and Zeta.
Tutorial Mode
Play through this mode to learn the basic controls!

- *Game data can’t be saved or loaded in the demo.
- *Progress made in the demo does not transfer over to the full game.
- *Demo rewards can’t be claimed in the full game if saved data for clearing the demo is lost or erased.
- *There are no plans for a Steam version of the demo.
