Shin Megami Tensei V series sales surpass 1.6 million units

Atlus has announced that the combined sales of the original Shin Megami Tensei V and the newly-released Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance have surpassed 1.6 million units sold.

To place that in some context, the original Shin Megami Tensei V hit 1 million units in April 2022, about six months after launch. A tweet from Atlus Japan adds a little more context, stating that Vengeance has sold 500,000 in three days since launch.

Atlus made the new announcement via the company's official Twitter account, which we've shared below.
