Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred introduces its new Mercenaries system coming in this DLC expansion
Blizzard has provided a new trailer for the upcoming Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred DLC expansion that shows off the Mercenaries system they mentioned when unveiling the October 8 release date a few months ago. These NPC companions aid a player's character in the new Nahantu region featured in Vessel of Hatred.
Each mercenary features completely unique roles and skill sets. One of them wields a huge shield that lunges forward into a shield bash and casts protection abilities. Another is a fiery mage that can transform into a demon. One of them unleashes their inner warrior with dual axes that can swiftly rope in foes. Meanwhile, players that desire support from afar can choose an archer mercenary, instead.
