Gundam Breaker 4 final pre-release livestream reveals even more appearing characters and Gunpla kits
Gundam Breaker 4 is going to be available in roughly a week from this writing. The game is slated for release on the PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam simultaneously worldwide on August 29. However, Bandai Namco still hasn't stopped revealing more new content for the new sequel to the mech-customization action game series. The company had held a new live stream in Japan, where they unveiled more characters and Gunpla kits that will appear in the game.
First up is the list of brand-new Mobile Suits and SD Gunpla kits that will join the expansive roster, which has gone well over the promoted "over-250" list and currently stands at over 260:
- FD-03 Gustav Karl (from Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash)
- GH-001RB Grimoire Red Beret (from Gundam Build Divers)
- CAT1-X1/3 Hyperion Gundam (from Gundam SEED X Astray)
- GF13-013NR Bolt Gundam (from Mobile Fighter G Gundam)
- Liu Bei Unicorn Gundam (SD unit from SD Gundam World: Sangoku Soketsuden)
The above 5 units will be available in-game. However, Bandai Namco also revealed that they will add the X-EX01 Gundam Calibarn from The Witch From Mercury via an undated post-release update patch, in a similar fashion to the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.
While Bandai Namco had already revealed the main characters last June, they newly revealed more key characters who will appear in this game's storyline:
Sheena (voiced in Japanese by Sara Matsumoto)
One of the Gunpla Builders you will encounter in GBBBB. Despite showing a gentle demeanor with a ladylike speech, she also has a strong willpower and will occasionally show the latter off. She seems to worry about something, though. Sheena prefers a supporting role during missions, and her Gunpla is also made with a focus on ranged shooting attacks.
Lilin (voiced in Japanese by Rio Tsuchiya)
A mysterious Gunpla Builder who uses similar avatar and Gunpla to Lin. She seems to be always online in GBBBB and is also very skilled in battles, but she has a flat emotion with plain responses.
Mashima (voiced in Japanese by Yuichi Nakamura)
Another Gunpla Builder whom you will meet in GBBBB. He has his own way of playing the game, but he can show off excellent battle skills by using the Funnels.
Meister Jin
A regular high-ranked super player. Other GBBBB players look up to Jin and call him "Meister" as a form of respect. The eye mask he wears in his avatar adds more to his mysteriousness. But while Jin has a polite manner in normal conversations, he can also get heated up during battles.
In the same stream, Bandai Namco also published teasers about the upcoming extra content from the paid DLC packs. The first Diorama DLC pack will contain objects modeled after space colonies and 15 posters from Universal Century TV and movie entries. Meanwhile, the first story DLC pack will also come with 4 new Gunpla kits, although the company has still yet to specify the exact units.
