Ubisoft takes control of South Park: The Stick of Truth

Over the last few days the fate of the component parts of once-strong game publisher THQ was decided via auction - and while for some time the fate of South Park: The Stick of Truth looked uncertain, the game now has a new home - Ubisoft. 

The owners of South Park had previously tried to stop the rights to the game being sold at auction, but that attempt failed - and Ubisoft picked up the title. They'll now handle publishing duties. A delay from the original March release date is now largely inevitable, but Ubisoft confirmed that the game would be out this year.
