Here's the first screenshots of Zelda: A Link to the Past's 3DS Sequel

Nintendo has released a first batch of screenshots from its just-announced 3DS sequel to 1992's A Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for Nintendo 3DS.

The shots offer a first glimpse at the art style for the game, which is a unique take merging the style of the original 2D sprite-based title with full 3D polygonal environments and models.

The game doesn't have a full title yet, and is simply billed as a Link to the Past sequel for now. It's due out before the end of the year.
