Tetracast - Episode 76: The Curse of Localization
Welcome to the latest edition of the Tetracast, RPG Site's weekly podcast!
In direct contrast to last week's episode, there isn't a whole lot of news to discuss this past week, but that didn't stop us from recording a lengthy episode! Before we head into the key topics, we like to share a little bit about the games we've been playing.
While James played a little bit of Monster Hunter XX on Switch and Josh shares his thoughts on the indie thriller Tokyo Dark, most of the conversation is dominated by Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana! We share our thoughts on the gameplay, the story, and of course, the localization efforts.
And then we head into the news. As mentioned, there isn't a whole lot to go over. Nintendo recently held their "Nindies" showcase stream, going over the games that will be released for their respective platforms. Meanwhile, Square Enix announced their Tokyo Game Show 2017 plans, which may hold some exciting reveals. That and much more in this new episode!
This edition of the Tetracast features Josh Torres, James Galizio, and is hosted by Zack Reese. As always, you can find links to the full episode of the podcast below along with our RSS feed, and also subscribe to us on iTunes.
