Assassin's Creed Odyssey leaked by merchandise, set in Ancient Greece
UPDATE
Ubisoft has embraced and confirmed the leak on Twitter, asking fans to wait for E3.

The next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise has leaked ahead of an official reveal, thanks to a branded merchandise tip sent to French games' site JeuxVideo-Live. The site states that a tipster sent in a photo of a keychain bearing the title Assassin's Creed Odyssey, with a Spartan-style helmet. The title and helmet imply that the game will be set in Ancient Greece this time around.
Kotaku followed up the story with further insight, claiming sources can confirm the Greek setting and that "it’ll be even more of a drastic departure for the series than Origins". The game is reportedly set to launch before the end of the 2019 fiscal year (by March 2019), although the series usually see releases in the fall.
We at RPG Site starting covering the Assassin's Creed franchise with Origins thanks to new incorporation of RPG elements, and Kotaku's source also stated that Assassin's Creed Odyssey will lean even further to the RPG genre with selectable dialogue options brought to the series for the first time. You'll also reportedly be able to play as a male or female protagonist. Kotaku also posted an image of the branded keychain.
We'll have to wait for the official reveal for more information, very likely at Ubisoft's press briefing at E3 on June 11.
